In our opinion this movie can be a good way to ask yourself some questions about life, family, friendship.It is a brilliant and wonderfull movie, not too long, not too short. We were interested about the global story of the movie, about the adventure of the woman, about he people she met during her trip. Many misadventures happened to her like lost her shoes, meet weird people, problems with wild animals and other people.
Wild is fascinating beacause the audience identifies with Cheryl.
The relationship between Cheryl and her mother is very fusional and when she falls sick Cheryl was lost, devastated. When her mother died her reaction is interesting in the sense that you realized that family is important in life.
The audience get smitten to the main character, because she lives many bad patch, she has mental breakdown, there is empathy from the audience to Cheryl.
The trip of Cheryl was a way to focus on herself and to take stock on her life after all she had lived.

In our opinion, the movie was a bit confusing at first sight, but after we learned to understand it, in this film we can see that the protagonist is looking for redempion and to change herself in a good person, we really appreciated this concept of life because we always have an opportunity to change at everytime, everywhere. Some details we didn't like where the empty scenes without action that showed just an empty landsape.
We really enjoyed the side story of her mom that can get us some emotions (not in my case) but yes, it's possible. We liked the differency in cultures that the movie showed us when the protagonist enters the city with plenty of street artists.
We think that this film is worth seeing, so get yourself a drink and watch it!

first of all i will start by the positives aspects :
in this movie Reese Witherspoon excel she was really good and transmits very well all the emotions that her character lived ! she's so human and natural this is fantastic ! strongest point of this film is that is human, this isn't only a story about redemption and how to forget you're past but how to live better with it and succed. great lesson of life
Nick Hornby show us a lot of thing and add many problems cherryl meet plenty of people it look so realistic and powerfull that's cinematographic poetry, the smooth flashbacks keep the movie thrilling

now about the negatives aspects :
the movie is maybe to short the travel don't even look so hard because nick hornby doesn't focus enough on the time and just make a count he botch he's work
in conclusion 'wild' left me empty despite some great thing
